JADE BOYD : NICOLE WHITE
March 16 - April 13, 2013
Opening Saturday, March 16, 6-9 p.m.
Open by appointment.
Apophenia, loosely defined as locating meaning within random data, is the symptomatic byproduct located within the new pieces of Jade Boyd and Nicole White. Their practices and processes are acutely impacted as the artists allow for the unpredictable to enter their work. Through the act of letting go, the resultant pieces raise multiple questions surrounding the current state of their mediums, how the glitch or mistake can allow for new translations of information, and how belief effects what is "seen."
Please join us Saturday, March 16th from 6 - 9:00 p.m. for the opening. Follow the link below to visit our web site for the full press release and more information.
